Uses Of Andriol Based On Research

Andriol is a synthetic esterified form of testosterone. It is available in oral formulation and relies on fat for its metabolism. This makes its bioavailability to remain below 10%. It was initially manufactured for the indication of hormone replacement therapy in men with andropause, age associated reduction in testosterone, and men with hypogonadism.

Andriol research has shown that the steroid can be used for other purposes including as a male contraceptive. Like most steroids, Andriol causes suppression of the body’s production of endogenous testosterone. This is because Andriol is converted to testosterone which gives a negative feedback to the brain to stop the production of follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone.  These hormones are normally responsible for communicating to the testes to increase synthesis of testosterone by the Leydig cells. Men who participated in the research had low levels of sperm in their semen. However, once stopped, the sperm count returns to normal after 2 to 6 days.

For the treatment of low testosterone, Andriol research has shown that there is reduction in symptoms following its use. With sustained use, there is increased libido, higher energy levels, strong bones with improvement of osteoporosis symptoms, increase in muscle mass with reduction in body fat and finally an overall feeling of good health and mood elevation.

Andriol is also combined with anabolic steroids by bodybuilders and athletes during their bulking and cutting cycles. Together with the anabolic steroids, intense exercise and diet, there is a notable increase in muscle mass with better muscular definition. The muscular strength is increased and exercise tolerance is enhanced. Calcium deposition in bone is increased as well, leading to stronger bones that are more resistant to osteoporosis. Another effect is the increase of renal erythropoietin production, which leads to increased red cell production and increased oxygenation of muscles.

Andriol is available through prescription in most countries but it can be accessed easily through online shops. Its use is associated with various side effects such as gynecomastia due to its conversion to estrogen. For this reason and others, it should be used correctly in the right dosage, frequency and duration.
